What is “shopping” in a “be green” way?
When we come across with something we feel just right, we normally take a further step from there by doing a research actively and we even do an interview.
In order for us, every consumer, to be able to feel the way of a producer much more transparent, how should we learn to get involved?
Who in what kind of feelings are making?
What and how are they making?
How will their products affect the dynamism of the whole body of this planet?
What “be green” wants to cherish is to start positively changing our conventional passive way of act of consuming to consciously focusing our energy only on the good products first, then eventually into a circulating way of act.
We would like to introduce the products that we felt we want to support after having our hearts touched by them
Spreading by grass roots…
That’s where we see the prototype of “how to get involved” and “community”, which we are heading toward.
As you can see by reading the “Be Green Fes.” page, we sympathize with the way of thinking that is presented by “身土不二” (pronounced “Shindofuni”)**
** Shindofuni” is a Buddhism term, which roughly means “Consequences of human action and the environment which he depends on cannot be separated”.
However, in terms of daring to introduce something from foreign green business into Japan, it takes another way of thinking; “Think Globally. Act Locally”, which we are resonant with as well. It is because we feel that to do so in the current time frame, as this planet is about to reach a great change, is a necessary process and a potential opportunity for a marvelous evolution.
We are hoping that you will first find out, in a various places on this planet, stuff like this is happening, and there is stuff like that out there. Then, we are hoping next that after experiencing those, it will become the start of developing its essence with originality in your local places.
Presently, we are in a dynamics where the state of the world is as such that we can no longer separate one country from another country under the influence of globalizm.
Can we start shifting the kinks that were made by the globalizm into a much better direction by using globalizm?
Above all, please feel “something” in this chance.
Companies we will be introducing are only those who think that they want to make the earth a better place by using their business as a tool.
By way of workshops and collaboration projects, they will be sharing their benefaction to us.
May, in time, they be expanded with a further original method by the enthusiasm and the hands of the people who are living in the various places, together with their local uniqueness.
We, too, want to live by becoming one of the bridges for that.
